Engine Oil Capacity 5.5 quarts with filter

Change the engine oil at the mileage and time intervals described in the maintenance schedule.

1. Run the engine until achieving normal operating temperature.
2. Position the vehicle on a level surface and turn engine off.
3. Remove the engine belly pan.

4.Remove oil fill cap. (1)

5. Raise and support the vehicle.

6. Place a suitable oil collecting container under the oil pan drain plug (2)

7. Remove the oil pan drain plug (2) and allow the oil to drain into the collecting container. Inspect the drain plug threads for stretching or damage. Replace the drain plug and gasket if damaged.

8. Remove the oil filter. (1)

9. Install the oil pan drain plug (1) and tighten the drain plug to the proper torque specification.

10. Install a new oil filter.

11. Fill the crankcase with the specified type and amount of engine oil.

12. Install the oil filter cap.

13. Start the engine and inspect for leaks.

14. Install the engine belly pan.

15. To reset the oil change indicator.

16. Using a scan tool, reset the oil change interval.

17. If required, check the oi level.
